03 Tranny just failed again... Need help fast please...
Can someone supply me the number for acura roadside asistance. Ive looked up and down for this number and can't find it. I recently sold me 03 TL-s and the tranny just failed on the guy. He didn't even drive 400 miles yet. Any help appreciated, as he is right now on the side of the highway in NJ.. Thanks a bunch

nothing on the acura website gives the number. Maybe you can provide a link. I feel really really bad that this guy has to go through this. Even when I call 411 they can't find the number. What's up with that?

the only number I see on the website is 1800 852-2872 thats for brochures, and the other is client services. Clients service number just says that their closed and hangs up.
C'mon no help here, this is an emergency.

FIRST[ tell your buyer to chill a while and try it again- once cooled off it may be perfect for days! if hot- probs appear- cold will get you home and sometimes to the dealer
2nd- is your car still under its normal warranty?
50k? - time/miles limits as applicable to your model and year
or are you a confirmed part of the 109 extended warranty?
run the vin at www.acura.com owner experience to know instantly
Is yes- then have any tow company get it to the nearest Acura dealer-some companies have agreement with dealer to bill direct-ask when calling
acura pays for the tow.
no one is open in service on the weekends that I know of, fill out the night drop off form and leave the key with remote. Monday someone will take care of it and assuming trans is warranty covered- it will already have been ordered by the time he gets a call- and then they will cut loose with the loaner car no sweat
Good luck- will check for my owner book- not in car for fuel saving reasons

Thanks for coming through with that number. This will make the 3rd failure. The car is covered under the extended warranty (100K miles) bulletin that I got about 2-3 years ago. The towing company is working on getting to the car now.
At this time the guy is stuck in NJ, and he lives in NYC, which orcourse makes this even worse. He said that the car was smoking, and when he got to the closet gas station he was advised that it was the transmission. I asked him if the d5 was flashing and he said no. Hard to get a feel of what is going wrong with the car because the guy doesnt know how to turn off the high beams (that's a whole 'nother story.)
Hopefully, this can be worked out. Maybe they give him a rental or some crap. I certainly wouldn't want to have to give a refund.

Unless you are a car dealer- its sold as is
You are doing all you can to help the guy, and with
the knowledge of prior replacements- now this will be a post 2-05 one for sure and he gets a car with a fresh 4000$ trans-
stuck with prob a bummer- solution- excellent
