03 tls 6 speed dyno with 99 ecu
as you can see i either need to get the type-s ECU or get a tune because my car gets extremely rich (almost 9 afr) around 3.5-5k rpm. im leaning torward a tune with AEM fic so that i can use the FIC for my turbo kit down the road.
infos
Run 2 was with the IMRC stuck closed
run 3 was with the IMRC stuck open again
Run 4 was with the IMRC working
pulled 243.5 HP and 204 FT-lbs of tq with the tl-p ecu. at 88% humidity and 89 degrees outside.
not bad considering i only have intake, and headers.
tuner said i should see 260-270 with a pulley, exhaust (i still have a tl-p exhaust) and a tune with AFC neo or AEM FIC

Those are nice numbers. With all the bolt on mod, you should reach 260-270 easily. With the S/C, over 300whp is piece of cake. I hope I can reach 300whp next week when I bring the car to tune the S/C with around 5psi.

not bad at all phee. The AFR's I don't like too much...When I'm @ WOT I'm riching out to 12's-11's
Also running TL-P ECU, I still need to dyno.
Exhaust work, pulley, and possible spacers should do the trick.

ur still gonna need a tune bc u might be running too lean. either way, if ur going boost ur gonna need a management unit one way or the other. might as well get it now and unleash all the power.

nice numbers phee, i see you were able to bolt an 05TL tranny to a j32a2. im wondering if its possible to bolt up a 3rd gen automatic tranny to a j32a1. or if its possible to just do a complete 3rd gen engine and automatic tranny swap. i assume its possible to do a complete 3rd gen engine and manual tranny swap, but i am just wondering about the automatic. thanks

ok, but what about a 3rd gen 5speed automatic tranny swap, will it bolt up to a j32a1 or j32a2? could you use the 3rd gen ecu or use a 2nd gen tl-s ecu on it? i am not worried about the shifter because i could prob rig something up for the automatic.

hmm, well there must be a way to get it to run normally...or not. is it in limp mode because of the ecu not being the 3rd gens or is in limp mode cus our ecu is freaken out?
im just trying to explore my options, is there any other automatics that will bolt up? thanks phee

Nice numbers Phee! Your doing good considering I dynoed 243/ 214 with the same mods plus a rt high flow cat, and p2r spacers...
About tuning; I plan on using a emanage blue when I go back in for dyno round 2. Let us know what unit you choose and the results. Good Luck.
