03 tl no check engine but pulling tranny code P0705
P0705 transmission range sensor circuit malfunction.
tranny has been studdering in 3rd mostly.
What should i go at first?

Are you sure it isn't P1705? "A/T gear position switch (short to ground)". There is a full diagnostic procedure starting on page 14-79 of the FSM.
