03 Headlight fuse problem
Hi,
My TL's left headlight fuse keeps blowing, I've changed 3 of them already. In reading all the threads, I'm hearing relay and ballast in various threads, are they the culprit in blowing the fuse?
What else should I look at to troubleshoot the problem?
Thanks.

its all about test and trial man. Maybe start by swapping the ballast from the right with the left, then try. If that blows, they the ignitor to the bulb. if that blows, then that means its from the ballast to your car, and thats probably gonna be hard to trace. good luck man
Thanks for the tip, Fobstylez.
I did the swap, replaced the last blown fuse with new one and surprisingly both the headlights are working now. Wonder why I had to swap it to work.
Other thought: I find a very small gap between my left headlight and the bumper (approx 1 mm or two only on the left side). Does water get in somehow? Either from car wash or rain and causes the ballast to malfunction? Gap has occured after the fix from an accident my wife had on this car. I tried to close it when I was putting the bumper back but I was unable to do so. I'll try once again this evening ... but just wondering if that gap created this problem.
Thanks.
