03 Acura 3.2 TL - Reverse Mirror Tilt
Hello all:
I have bought a used 03 Acura TL a couple of months ago and it did not come with the manual
Anyway I have noticed that my right side mirror tilts when I put it in reverse if the mirror switch is in the middle. If it is in L position then it does not. Is there any way to make it not tilt while the switch is in the middle. Is there any combination on the remote that would turn this feature on or off?
I searched other threads but I could not find anything to this effect.
I really want it to not tilt down in reverse. This feature may be really helpful if you are in a city that requires you to parallel park a lot, but you don't really need it in Texas.
I could leave the switch to either L or R position and then it won't tilt but then I might end up in accidentally moving the mirror itself. I want the switch to be in the middle position and still be able to not tilt when in reverse.
Thanks.

Learn to live with it tilting down and start turning your head instead of using mirrors to back up?

Isn't there anything on the ground in Texas you should avoid? That tilting down feature would come in handy if there are bull horns on the ground, armadillos, etc.

Be lucky your car has that feature I wish mine did that im assuming that wasnt added till 02 but I was told there was some way to shut that off some how like if your slider was in the L the left mirrior would tilt and if its in R the right woudl tilt and in the middle nothing happens. I dont remember where I heard that or if its for this generation TL so dont hold me to that I wouldnt know because my car doesnt do it.

Nope. There is nothing in Texas, just George Bush's ranch and horses.
