what's a "painted Y-Pipe"?

 

If you look under your car from the back its the exhaust pipe that "Y's" to the two exhausts out the back. A lot of guys dont like the silvery...rusty look to the pipe and paint it with high temperature black paint.

 

O.E.M. = Original Equipment Manufacturer, which entails is the same as saying an ACURA wing.

Painted Y-Pipe means the piping that goes towards the rear mufflers got painted. Normally it would be a copper color and most folks on the board thinks its a tad messy/unrefined.

I have the OEM and I don't really like it... I like the flush look but some do... I like the aftermarket spoilers better tho, imho.
