02 Type S Wood Grain wheel?

What's up guys. I'm gonna take a trip tomorrow to the junkyard just to see what I can find. But I was wondering did my 02 Type S (Black w/ Tan leather interior & Wood Grain) ever have a wood grain wheel option? I currently have just a standard leather tan Acura wheel.

Yea, it's an optional accessory. The options for the TL wheel are:

-Brown wood with solid leather (Black Leather)
-Brown wood with perforated leather (Taupe Leather)
-Black wood with solid leather (Black Leather)

You can get a new OEM wheel for the MDX on eBay. It fits perfectly, and it's only $100.

Hey Karanx would you mind showing me? I was gonna shell out 150+ for an inspire woodgrain wheel till you said that.

Is it the 2001 MDX model? If so i only see one on ebay.

I bought mine on ebay for $220 shipped a few years ago. It took me awhile to find it though. Just keep checking ebay, one will come up sooner or later.

I'm tempted to buy a cheap one in not great shape and remove the old leather and stitch some brand new leather on or the leather from my current steering wheel even.

You'll need a torque wrench.

I'm hoping that's bad lighting in their pic. It says beige but looks rather grey to me. Either way it arrives tomorrow sometime so it's looking like the wood wheel is added to my weekend project list!
