02 tl type-s 07 honda accord tranny swap
Whats up this is my first time posting a thread here, anyways i just swapped in a 2007 accord tranny in my tl. I swapped over the the range switch, cooler/warmer, and the top solenoid pack, left the accord filter and line, didnt swap over the oil jet kit though. the tranny shifts great but now i have a check engine light, vsa and {!} lights on, no d5 blinks. Tommorow i will check what code is it since i dont have a scanner, but does anyone know what can it be?

bought the trans for $650 with 44,000 miles and labor was $500. Look in www.car-part.com for transmission in your area.

Im very intrested in this swap, I just picked up a 2003 tl-s and i am very concerned that the tranny will go out soon.
I looked at car-part.com but i saw alot 4cyl transmissions.
My question is has anyone done this swap in there own garage? Or does everyone take it to a shop?

If I've missed a detailed thread on this, please direct me to the correct place......I have searched the site over and over and can't find any detailed info on the 2006-2007 Accord V6 tranny swap.
Can you provide more details on this swap? There are a few threads that I've found about people doing the swaps, but no real detail.
What part numbers/models of transmissions are you using?
What other parts are needed?
Is it plug and play and/or bolt up? Are any ECU issues involved?
I'm thinking about approaching a local shop to do this, but need more info to discuss with them.

I did it in my garage. Its actually not as hard as it seems. Just take your time if you are doing it your self. Dont rush it. No ecu needs to be replaced if you have an 00+ from what i remember. Just switch the range switch (basically thing that selects the gear youll see it it moves forward and back) and the selenoid, swap in the cooler if you would like but i didnt.
