02 TL Foglights

02 TL Foglights

I have a White Type S and i bought replacment bulbs for the fogllights and i tried to get the driver side fog light cover off and it wouldnt move even after i took off the screw from underneath.....is there another one i gotta take out?

There's just the one bold underneath. You kind of have to jockey it around a little to get the fog light housing out. I took a flat head screwdriver and a towel and gently pry'd out the housing.

Yeah it just gets stuck a bit because of dirt or what not.

haha in just about 15 minutes i did it...i went with a yellow foglight...lexus style..i think it looks awesome...ill post pics of my car and the foglights when i get the chance...thanks again guys

Cool, so which bulbs did u go with? I have tried two brands of yellow both were pretty good but looking at it head on, the Lexus yellow is still deeper.

The brand is Euro Dezigns ....never herd of them...i was just going for the look...if the blow i might get some quality ones...these were like 10 bucks or something....what have u had good luck with...just incase i need to fall back on some new ones?

heh yeah that freaking suck. I got 3 extra pairs in my house. I spent enough money on finding them. One pair had 1 bulb blow out 3 days later about 4 hours of use at most. grrrrrrrrrr I like the yellow it gives off though when I am sitting in the car looking onto the floor but headon the MAX GOLD 55W ones are a deeper yellow.

i havent seen mine at night yet...they look good from what i saw but i guess i'll see...i hope mine dont blow in 4 hours tho...lol

i changed mine to 5100k PIAA bulbs....my friend went with yellow for a lexus like look like 02 typeS did.

Just for the records...i see alot of up north people....i was born in NJ...i live in maryland now tho
