Anyone have or know where I can find a set of the a-spec sideskirts from a 02 or 03 acura tl?

yes,but acura wants like $2-300 per side. I was checking to see if anyone new where i could pic up a used pair for cheaper.

 

There is no such thing as "a-spec side skirts" for the 02-03 TL....only the 04-05. I'm assuming you mean the OEM factory body kit side skirts for the 02-03?

The A-spec side skirts definitely do not fit a 2nd gen TL.

 

Well, Canada had A-spec TL in '03. It came with blacked-out headlight casings, OEM kit, custom leather jacket with the production number, interior upgrades, etc.

UA5 A-spec (Canadian) body kit = OEM kit

 

yes.....in Canada,2003 had TL Type S A Spec.......it came with blacked out headlight n a Special spoiler for 03 A Spec(have a light of each side)....side marker,different 17"rim tires of Type S and TL-P,blue leather inside.....

and in Canada 2003 TL A Spec's body kit is same as 02-03 OEM body kit......

 

Yeah, I don't like the spoiler or the wheels, but I sure would love to get a custom leather jacket.

 

The spoiler is actually the exact same as the JDM Inspire spoiler, minus the rear view camera..

 

Technically, that's incorrect as the lights on the Inspire spoiler (on the sides) are green, not red.

 

I'll take your word for it but I don't think I've ever seen a car with green lights on it anywhere.. kind of counteracts the green on the traffic lights if your signal lights are green, make for some interesting accidents.

Oh and the A-spec's spoiler lights are not red. they're white (see pic).. and I believe they only come on during signaling, not breaking... actual A-spec owners could verify this, I'm working off of memory.

 

A-Spec spoiler lights light up red when braking...not sure about signaling. Never paid much attention since I'm not a huge fan of 'em.

 

Let me make this clear for you guys.

INSPIRE spoiler has GREEN LED lights. It's meant to turn on with parking lights, not signal or braking. But you probably can hook up the wire to anyway you like. I modified my spoiler to turn on with signal.

 

Looks like everyone has it wrong here..

the a-spec spoiler lights only come on with the headlights. When you have your headlights on, the spoiler lights are a solid "red".

-They do not blink in sequence with the turn signals, they stay constant red at all times.

During the day, they are clear white, seeing as they are not on with the DRL's.

Hope this clears up some of the confusion..

 

yeah.....sc354 is right.......i have 03 A Spec.....n when u turn on parking light or headlight,the spoiler's lights will on (comes with red light).....NOT GREEN at ALL....
They won't on with DRL.......

 

you 2 are correct BUT, the INSPIRE spoiler has GREEN LED lights.

 

Inspire = Green Lights
A-Spec = Red Lights

 

yes.......A Spec is Red Light on the spoiler....i don't know is Inspire is Green or not......cuz mine is red.......
