*DIY* Easily Fix Dents (Takes about 5 minutes)

Just watch the vid and go fix some dents..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItSWE...eature=related

The Liquid can is just pressurized air.. (Computer Cleaners, Air Dusters)

Can be picked up at stores in the electronics section.

Im guessing his english is bad.. Cuz at the end, i saw no damage.. I did it to my car, but on an unpainted area... If u got some pieces lying around, you can dent it and try it on that..

Heres another method (Said it doesnt ruin paint)

Yuuuup. The 2nd vid was fixing hail dents and i guess a rock dent?.. From the looks of it, door dings too can be cured.

And by any chance, my other car was keyed.. Any good/clean way to patch it up. (I heard touch-up sux)

ive tried it a few times as well on different areas to no success. maybe that car used was made of thin cheap metal and can easily be popped back into shape.

ya, those lil euro cars..
I know that the early 2000 accords were very easy to dent, you can literally punch a dent in the car and pop it back.

A paintless dent removal place that physically works the metal back correctly so that it doesnt damage the paint.

dry ice and the heat gun work excellent and dry ice is $1 per pound- a lb is plenty
while compressed air cans are what 4-5?

Minor stuff comes out without even heating the metal! did a few dings on the bike tank with ease

I wonder if it would work if the ding is on a crease in the metal. My TL has one on the door but it's right on the crease.

The way it works best is if you take the dent as soon as you notice its there....as you prolly already know from these vids....heat expands the metal and cold just sort of shrinks the metal therefore makin the metal forced to go back to its original shape. If the dent has been there for a extended period of time, your chances of taking the dent out will be minimal because of day time heat and night time cold expanding and shrinking your metal on the cars everyday basically so it loses its original shape and wont be able to go back to that shape. It comes down to molecules basically I guess lol. Also, it depends on what type of dent it is...notice how the dents shown arent sharp indentations...sort of smooth spoon like dents; very easy to naturally pop out. I gotta take mine to a spot to take them out but whats the point, there gonna come back anyways...some people just dont care about other peoples car....nj

I disagree with the time factor- the temps generated by dry ice is NEGATIVE 100F
thats colder than any night the TL has ever seen

The heat gun puts out 800+ degrees- again higher than you will ever find on the cars surface temps

method works on really small dings. doors usually. and yes it does damage paint. too much of those computer sprays, or holding dry ice on it too long. u wont notice it at first. but after about 5 car washes you'll notice a beautiful fade that wont go away. if you really care about your paintjob and want those dings gone, get a shop to do it. cuz if they fuck up. they paint for a new paintjob 8)

its really not work taking the risk if ur paint is in good condition
