well like the title says i need your advice on something......aight before i go on i know some of you might think its a dumb idea but i kinda look at it as saving me money but here goes


alright felllas on the way home from school today i spotted a lancer evo in white and it looked lovely....nothing ricey about it at all it was slammed on some chromies which looked like the 5 spoke 5zigens, a carbon fiber hood, and JUST a carbon fiber front lip with other goodies.....but lets get to it the question i have is do you think if i added JUST a front lip on my 2000 TL it would look decent???......if so carbon fiber, same color as car, or flat black???

***of course i plan on adding the rest later but i want to save some money and i really want the front lip cuz i found it at a cheap price so let me kno your opinions

second question: is the 98-02 accord front similar to the 99-01 tl's??

I say go for it. Just putting a front lip will look straight. Dont do it flat black. Carbon fiber? How you gonna get CF lip? Just get it painted the same color as the car. Once you put the front lip on, do the black housing and consider your front end done!

well as far as the carbon fiber goes i was thinkin something off of the accord.....i was really leaning toward painting it the same color as the car so i have a feeling im gonna go for that

I've seen a UA4 with just the front lip back home and it looked extremely unbalanced and out of place. I personally wouldn't recommend it but it's your car.

i have tried a few of the accord lip kits but its too short like about 1/2inch short and if you get the lip in carbon you can't fix that you can cut and paste cf bak.. but if you get a fiber glass and chop to fit then wrap in cf.

no, no, don't do just the front lip, of course this is my opinion, but go for the full kit or none at all or car will look chopped up.

i would have to disagree, doing just the front can give a better idea of other mod to go with it.,but this is also my opinion

Also, accord part don't fit perfectly, friend has 01 accord and we actully wanted to try, didn't work out to well.

thanks fellas for all of your opinions it seems we have almost a 50/50 cituation hopefully more people tune in and give their opinions.....about the accord lip i just thought i could try something different who know if i can find one in fiber glass i would do what fixedtl came up with or maybe even stick with the OEM lip like BLaCk Acc said who knows keep givin more opinions thanks everybody

There aren't much lip kits for an accord.. but look around and find one you like.. but your best bet is just either get the OEM kit or the WW kit and just wrap the front lip, it will make your car stand out alot if you just do the front lip in cf.

i dont think you should do it.. it will look unbalanced...
cars like the evo and g35 you can get away with because it looks more flush...
