****Ebay Wood Trim Kit****
just wanted to let you guys know that I wasn't too happy with the Wood Trim kit I bought off of Ebay from NYDashes.com.
The color was way off (too orange), the grain pattern wasn't all that close.
I put a few pieces on and took them off the next day because I didn't like it one bit.
I ordered another kit from woodtrim.com (JoshuaTree) after reading good reviews on their kits. This time I will make sure I like them first before committing to them. They have a money back guarantee.
Just FYI.
Thanks

Let me know either following up with this post or by email if you are happy with JT. I too have read the good reviews but it is always better to hear first hand.
Thanks,
Axe

the kit sold on this site is a great match for the TL. Most all the reputible sites sell this kit for our cars.. Its a B&I WD269 and can be had on other sites for less.
Let me know if anyone wants to see a pic of this kit. I can post a link to it installed on my car...

I've had the Joshua Tree kit installed for close to 4 years and it matches perfectly.

That looks absolutely amazong. You did a great job for sure. Now I am ready to call in and order the kit. I assume that it took you the couple of hours they recommend that it will take. I can be very patient...especially with something like this!!!
Thanks again for the pix. I look forward to posting a few of my own soon!!
Axe out..

But it looks much better in person, the dosn't look good in the pic..
Which kit are you gettin? from this site???

no,
I think that I am gonna go for the joshua tree kit. I know that it is more money however, I have heard only good things from folks that have them (including you) and I like the fact that they use real wood for their kits.
Talk with you later,
Axe

Just ordered one too!
Hi All,
I just ordered one kit too from Joshua Tree.
Supposed to be their "Hottest sale of them All"....,
still the owner agreed to an additionnal rebate after emailing
him for details on the shipping process. (I live in Montreal...)
.
After reviewing this great forum a few times i decide to go with
the unanimate good reviews instead of the lower prices.
But only one detail... I don't have the Acura yet!
I will take possesion of the car only tomorrow afternoon!
So i should be posting more frequently in the future
(First post today- Cannot be more Newbie then that!)
Hey AXEMAN & NICKSAN could you please post when received,
that way i'll have an idea when i should receive mine.
Thanks,
Pierre

I got the trim kit from JoshuaTree the other day. I haven't installed it yet but I did compare it to the factory trim and in my opinion it matches great...much better than NY Dashes.
The grain pattern is also pretty much dead on.
The only problem is that the piece that fits over the Bose system is the wrong one. I wasn't planning on using it anyways since I think it would be overkill.
I plan to use everything except the stereo and the immediate area around the gear shift. I'm still thinking about the cub holder cover...I will definitely use the ones that go with the temp. control and odometer and all the other ones.
I like the contrast that it provides when I don't use one for the Bose and gear shift.
I took a look in sunlight and it looks great!
No orange hue here.
Highly recommended and I will TRY to put some pics up...won't be too soon since I will go on vacation from Wednesday.
Guys who also purchased from Joshua Tree, let me know if the Bose piece fits.
Thanks
Nick N.
