It took about 1 minute to get to the clips, then about 7 minutes to find and splice the wire, mounted the sensor and played with the sensitivity.

less than 15 minutes total and I've never done anything like that before.

Total cost... $16
this is a total newbie Q but how do you splice a wire? i'm not skilled at installing electrical stuff.

park ave acura sells shock sensors for the headlights for the OEM alarm...just go to their web site for details.
