Ad so I have started seeing the imminent infamous pink eye hue on my headlights after a few seconds of turning them on. Went to Acura at Oxmoor (Louisville, KY) to see how much to replace the bulbs and they told me parts would be $165 per bulb, totalling $330 plus tax, and labor would be $100, total invoice $430 plus tax. And he kept insisting that they will have to do a diagnostic because it might not be the lightbulbs, an extra $90. I was furious and told them I do not need any diagnostic, you are not listening to the customer, all I asked for is how much to replace light bulbs not asking if you can tell me what's wrong with my car. And he said $430 plus tax. I left.
Is that right, the $100 labot to put the bulbs on? Would Honda be able to do the job cheaper (not sure if Hondas have HID)? Can I just buy the bulbs cheaper elsewhere and just go to dealer to have them istalled??
