$36.00 Oil Change
That was the price before tax, for an oil change I will do myself.
Man, I knew full synthetic oil wasn't cheap, but the $7.96 oil filter was the icing on the cake! Fram "Dual Guard" as I remember - extra supa-dupa shiznit filter that releases teflon into the oil as it flows. Not sure I'll be spending that much next change, but then again I've never ran synthetic oil in my cars, either. I used to always run Castrol GTX through an STP filter in my RX-7 and thought I was being a big spender. Wrong!!!
I guess I'll decide if this setup is worth it if my car runs any smoother, we'll see...

I just paid $475.00 for a 30K mile service. And the worst part is, the car still runs the same!!

Beats the heck out of dealer service, which I will be doing all the maintenence myself. No reason to spend over $300 for an oil change, lube and inspection of underbody parts and fluid levels that I can do myself!
Man, you guys kill me with the going to the dealer stuff...

i get my oil change from my machinic Jackson,
$12 for pennzoil regular including pennzoil filter($15 for regular customer)+a can of coke and ciggerates
$35 for pennzoil synthitic with pennzine including pennzoil filter + a coke and ciggerates
what do you guys think? good price or no?
