When I am parked and I shift my car from park to reverse, reverse to drive, vice-versa, I hear a "knocking" noise coming form underneath the car. One the inside you cannot hear it, but if I have the window down, or if someone is on the outside, it is very easy to hear.

Just wondering if this is a normal noise when shifting from drive to park, reverse to park, drive to reverse, etc.

Your motor mounts are shot. It's a common issue on Hondas, especially vacuum ones like the Legends.

 

So what do i do?

 

Also, how do I know which one it is?

 

What's your level of mechanical expertise? I would guess the job is a 6 or 7 if a timing belt is 8 and a motor rebuild is 10. If you can't do it, take it to a reputable Honda mechanic.

It's the one(s) that is(are) broken.
