Wheels.

I've been searching high and low for wheels that'll fit the DBA-KB1 (Acura RL / Honda Legend) and have found a few that are in production that should fit.
The reasons why the choice is so slim is that this is the first Honda (with the exception of the Ridgeline) that uses a 5x120 bolt pattern with a +50ish offset, AND it'll have to clear the front Brembo's. When factoring all these, there are currently less than 10 wheels that'll fit. BUT, there could be some BMW and Corvette C5 aftermarket wheels that may fit!

Some BMW aftermarket fitments are 5x120 +45ish and some C5 fitments are 5x120 +55ish, so... if anyone know anyone who owns some aftermarket bmw or c5 wheels, ask them to borrow one and try it on the front of your RL!

Hopefully over time, this list will grow with confirmed fitments!

From the Tirerack.com:
ASA ST3 in 18"

ASA ST4 in 17" or 18"

From DOOV (BBS RE):
19"

BBS LM:
19" w/ DOOV suspension

To be honest, none of these wheels that I've found really peak my interest. I know that Volk has some CE's or LE's that'll be out shortly with KB1 fitments, and that they also make TE's in 5x120 for BMW's. But those don't float my boat either. Sure theyre forged and super light, but I believe they may look out of place on the RL.

Other choices include would be a set of custom wheels by Fikse, Kinesis, iForged, and HRE.

Here's a pic from an ex-S2000 owner with the golf 540R's on his M3 (dut). I believe this would look quite awesome on my white RL after it's lowered with a quality lowering kit:

Good post ... This choice is driving me nutz too. I thought I found "MY" prefect wheel in the Privat Zwanzig, but the test fit today was a no go (hitting front caliper).

There is a reasonable choice at www.bigwheels.net, unfortunately none met my needs and so I ended up with the Acura 18" rims.

19"

IMO, these would look pretty sweet if the car were about another inch lower.

Oh, and by the way, you can see all of DOOV's products in that first link.

What is your source of info that some C5 wheels are 5x120? As far as I know, ALL C5 wheels (heck, pretty much ANY corvette I've ever seen) are 5x4.75 (5x120.65 in metric). I have 3 different sets of C5 wheels (stock '99, high-po '00, and '04 Z06) and I can assure you they are all 5x4.75.

They are?? Damn. I searched eBay and google for '5x120' and got tons of C5 and BMW wheels. I guess they just rounded down.

Hey, if you do have a few sets of C5 wheels, can you check just how much they're off? .65mm doesnt seem that much to me, though I would never widen the holes via dremel or redrilling.

Thanks for the correction!

427 - those are visually pleasing, but I would question the quality of the manufacturer and the fact that it's a +35 offset in 19 and a +40 in 18. I'd bet the 19s would stick out pretty far out of the fenders and would more than likely rub. You may be able to get away with the 18's, but +40 is a bit agressive when running 245's. I wonder if these would also clear the Brembos? Oh, and do the 18/19's have that sweet concaved face?

I was interested in running 18's (provided they fit) ... Can you please educate me on the agressive aspect? Most 18's I've looked at are in the +40 range for offset. I realize the 15mm offset difference will force the wheel out about a 1/2" ... Will this cause driving problemz with my A-Spec suspension?

You have to either intall a new set on your new rims or take the old set off from your current rims to transfer over.

Your are looking at roughly a 1/4" difference (1/2.54 * 0.65) which in some things isn't a big deal but, to me, for aligning wheel studs to a wheel is too far out. I don't know why Acura chose such a unique pattern as it certainly has made the aftermarket pickings slim.

I've contacted Axis and they told me that the only wheel made to clear BBK's is the Milano.

I really like the new Penta's, but according to them, it doesnt fit.

Does anyone have a good resource for info/pricing on the Volk CE28N wheel? Non of the websites I've searched had a 5x120 listed.
