Wheel Widths?

I have been searching this forum and cannot find a direct answer so I figured I would ask.

1.What is the stock wheel width on the 2G RL?

2.Are all for wheels the same or is the front narrower than the rears?

3.When purchasing new wheels what widths should I look at getting?

4. Does the width matter depending on the rim diameter?

Say in an 18" I would need 8" width but in a 19" I would need 8.5?

I am looking at getting a new set of wheels in either 18" or 19"
Just trying to determine what width I need to be looking at.

17x8 is stock wheel.
and wheel width is the same on all 4 corners.

when purchasing new wheels; you shouldnt get anything less than 17x8 but definitely can go more aggressive if you so choose.
there is no"need" to get either or, its up to you and how you want your car to look by playing with the specs.

but then there's offset. you can play around with different offsets to push the wheel out or in or however you want it.

to sum it up; its a choice that you need to decide on how you want your car to look. again, I wouldnt do anything less than stock specs

Stock is 8" wide. All 4 are the same. Most anything 8-9" will be fine. Width does not matter based on wheel diameter.

I got tired of sifting through the multiple threads and snide comments like yours.

Figured I would just ask outright and get a concise answer to all of my questions in one shot.

I apologize if it upset you.
Why not just stay out of it if it bothers you?

I just find it very annoying that people fail to take time and search for a answer to their question. Yes this is a community about helping other members which i am more than happy to do. But at least put in some effort.

if you would have read the sticky at the top of the page you would have read that all the info you needed.

Appropriate RL tire sizes (PAX not included)
OEM 17": 245/50/17
18": 245/45/18
19": 255/40/19
20": 255/35/20

Appropriate RL wheel sizes--will provide correct offsets later...

Bolt pattern 5 X 120 mm
Hub bore=64.1 mm
Wheel nuts are 14 mm X 1.5

stock: 17 X 8 with +55 offset.
17 X 8.5 will work as well.
18 X 8 or 8.5
19 X 8.5
20 X 8.5

Even tho your specific question may have not been asked.

All you had to do was look at the show me your wheel thread about half a page down https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-tires-wheels-suspension-92/show-us-your-aftermarket-oem-wheels-your-rl-806687/

You would have seen 6 pages of members showing their wheels and specs of the wheels gauging by the post you can compare sizes and what seems to be reasonable.
