I hear there is going to be a wheel photoshoot soon, which is awesome. I'm having a hard time deciding what to get for my '05

037, would you be willing to let someone try your '09 wheels on a 05-08 RL? I know we have some Photoshopped pictures but I'd like to see what it looks like...

Still debating 18" or 19". I'd love to do 19" but we have some killer pothole roads up here in the Northeast....

I have 19" and live in pothole ravaged Cleveland and there is really not much of a difference between them and the 17" stock. My wife who is very finicky about ride quality is fine with them. Trust me go with 19”.

I'm pretty attached to my 18"s...I had someone actually try stealing them by trying to drill my lock...after I slammed the wrench and got it off it was cracked!

Now I got 5 locks per wheel.

The '09 wheels definitely look sharp. I'm kind of tired of the 5 spoke design, it's been played out so many times that it's time for something different...hence the RJ Legends or '09-'10 wheels

Hopefully this upcoming photoshoot you guys are doing will really help with that decision. Thanks for helping us fellow RLers out

My hats off to you guys for having nice cars in NYC....I know its a lot of work. I would never have a nice car in NYC, it just seems like things get beaten to death there...

I hit a full exhaust pipe doing 50mph on i95 while in Connecticut.

The most NY done to me up to that point was a car rear ended me while leaving a parking lot.

I don't think it's just NYC, I think it might be everywhere!

Yeah I know, having a car in the Northeast is a challenge....between snow, salt, hot weather, crappy roads, tons of traffic, cars get beat pretty bad up here

Also, my stock rims are now off the car as I've bought a set of RJs.

I can bring a rim if CFoote still wants to try it but there's no tire on it...

I'm probably keeping stock wheels for future winter mode. Maybe I can finally get the summer tires I wanted so I can stop paying attention to the road winding at triple digit speeds.
