Tpms Sensors
Tpms Sensors
I've changed my mind and am now considering picking up a set of OEM wheels to mount my snow tires onto. Most of the ebay wheel sets come without the TPMS sensors.
Two questions:
1. Should I buy sensors from my local dealer, or are they much cheaper at an online store?
2. I've never even seen one of these sensors, are they difficult to install?
TIA

Try an online store like Ray Laks 1888raylaks which is the same as Hondacuraworld.com or curry acura. They will ensure the correct part number is sent.
To be sure, you should also look up the TPMS part number on the Acura e-store web site.
Tire Rack said Honda and Acura currently use 6 different part numbers for TPMS sourced from TRW and Pacific Industrial.

Go with an online Acura dealer. I ordered 4 for my aftermarket wheels (as I put my set of OEMs away in storage), and I paid $170 for them, with tax, shipped to my house. Some of the local dealers wanted more than that for just 1!!!!
Good luck,
Good luck,
