A-spec suspension question

Is it possible to determine if the car has a-spec suspension or not just by looking at it? The owner claims it is A-spec all around (body kit, wheels and suspension). Did they factory installed A-spec had a-spec label anywhere? I have some pictures btw.

Aspec suspension only lowers the car about an inch. It would be hard to tell. In terms of finding out the truth, I believe there are part numbers I.D. in the back of the struts to determine if they are real?

looks like u have the full kit to me. but does it have a lot of body roll when u take corners? if it does then u dont have it and if it stays put with a slight roll then u do. hard to really say tho.

Check the book in the glove box. If the ASPEC is installed, the dealer is supposed to mark/note it in the owner's book. Mine forgot, but I had them do it.

There is also supposed to be a dealer certificate for A-Spec that goes along with the badge and suspension installation...that cert is part of suspension installation instructions. Something to check, although often the paperwork is not filled out.

Also check with the original selling dealer if you have that info.

there is no a-spec badge/sticker on the trunk. I will ask the owner to check the manual. Thanks guys. The car is in different state and has a salvage title. I'm not very excited about it so not sure if it's worth going there.

A spec suspension

I got my A-spec suspension kit in the garage and will be installing it on my 2005 RL soon.

It comes with 'extra pages' that slips into the owner's manual on how and what and other info about the A-spec suspension.

On the cars with A-spec suspension, the dealer may have slip those pages into the owner's manual (or maybe not)
