spacers?
spacers?
hello,
This question is for everyone running spacers on their RL. I currently have a 19*9 +35 rims on my car which doesn't clear my brakes in the front, so I have added a 6 mm spacer which just barely clears the brakes.
just for peace of mind, i thought i would increase the spacer size this summer, i wanted to run 17 mm, however, this involves rolling fenders and all, so i don't want to go that route.
I have found a 8 mm spacer which will give me some more clearance that i'm happy with, the only thing is with that spacer on the wheel nuts barely turn 5 turns. Is this safe? Does any have any experience with running spacers on this size or anything bigger.
Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Mine's a TL and it is different but I got have spacers with studs pressed into it.... I've run those at autocross events too... DO NOT USE STEEL LUGS ON THAT! Buy aftermarket lugs as well. Aluminium lugs on aluminium spacers. Also use Lugs that are 6061-T6 which are forged.

Ive heard that you can change to longer bolts
(but then use open ended lugs)
I would try to be resourceful and figure out the proper place to cut back the bolt after the lug is securely fastened
but that's just my novice
idea
