How can I restore the leather on my driver side door panel and seat without spending big bucks replacing them. I hate tan leather!!

i think it happens to the black leather as well lol if you want to do it dirt cheap just take it apart yourself and pull and re glue it so its smooth again. i talked to someone about it and they recommend replacing the leather and not re using it because the leather is stretched out. plus if u replace the leather its going to be hard to match it so you might need to replace all four doors.
Best option: find a junkyard with a rl with tan interior. and buy that one piece

I always thought the door and center arm rests were covered in vinyl, not leather. I've also wondered about the head rests.

Same thing happened to mines I guess I used the wrong cleaning spray(exterior spray)instead of the interior and mines bubbled up pretty bad and it was in pretty mint condition. I just order factory replacement from one of the Acura online parts dealer for $77 shipped.

I took mine to a local auto upholstery shop, and the redid both the driver and passenger front doors for $200. They did an awesome job, and the material they used is far superior to the OEM, and so I know it will last a long time. The texture and color are right on! They even added a little extra padding so it is even more comfortable. I will be having them do the center armrest this summer.

Take it to a local upholstery shop...you can get a new armrest, but it will have the same problem again. They might even use real leather if you want that, or a higher quality vinyl...over the years and cars...I have had good luck with a local upholstery shop and replacement Honda leather pieces...they use Honda leather...no "Acura" leather....
