Recommendations for Brake Pads?

Haven't been around in a while. Brake pads are starting to squeal so I'm looking to buy a new one.

Any recommendations? RL's just my daily driver, don't race or do anything aggressive with it.

AEM? Honda OEM? Thanks in Advance

Scott, if you do some searching in here ("brake pads" might be a term to use), you'll find various reports regarding the OEM, the Hawk, the Gransport, the Akebono ceramics, and the EBC formulas. Some reports are positive, others are not.

Personally, I'm still on OEM's.

scottsan, if you want better braking performance, go with Satisfied Gransport 6 from tirerack, somewhere in the area of $150 for the front.

If you're happy with OEM performance, you can't go wrong with OEM.

I just changed my pads to EBC red stuff, and very pleased with the results.

I was thinking of EBC or Porterfields the next time around. Any thoughts of which one any one prefers over the other from experience? I had Porterfields on my CRX and loved them.

I wanted to replace with OEM pads too but my dealer recommended refinishing the rotors... dunno how necessary that is though.
