Lookin for some concave lipless rims

I dont know what these type of rims are called, but I'm looking for some nice lipless rims that look like they cave in like a bowl, but dont have a lip. Sorta like what the BMW 7 series does with their rims. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? does anyone know whats a good brand for them? I'm looking to spend no more than $5000 for the rims.

MRR don't make HR2 for 5x120. I check with MRR and they ( HR2 ) have to be drill to 5x120 from 5x114,3. Some web sites list them as 5x120 but this is BS if You ask me.

Try this thread...03uc1 seems like a very good member and is selling these work wheels at a very good price. I'm not a fan of black wheels...but this black chrome finish or whatever it is is absolutely gorgeous...no lips...19" and the spokes go to the edge and I belive the rears are concave.

I've been contemplating them for a while but can't spend money on that right now....good luck.

Nice find, but wrong PCD. Need 5x120, among other considerations.

I realized it was in the RL area after the fact...I have a bad habit of hitting "find new posts". Sorry about that. I love those wheels.

Good luck.

Two problems with what you desire:

1. The HUGE calipers don't allow the wheel to sink in like a bowl, because the caliper would interfere with ther spoke position.

2. The relatively High offset makes for a flush face design fitment. Deep lips are hard as well, and fender clearance is also an issue. Heck, the factory wheels actually has spokes that poke out past the lip or edge of the wheel, thats how bad it is.

Check out these wheels, they will fit the RL perfectly, and they are as concave as can be for this car:

details can be found here:

look under VOLK's, with 8.5 or 9.5 with +22 offset.

I'm sure u'll fine some concave.

as for price, $5500 is alot of $$$ just for rims, even volk racing is under that price range.

you can get it with tires.

sorry. I did mean rims and tires. btw, after doing my soul searching. I just dont see very many options available. I would like them to look as stock as possible... like the way the bmw 7 series uses them..
