I went with these Moda's

18 X 9 Moda MD7 with 45 offset. I weighed the stock 17 with tire and these with tire and these are 1/2 lb heavier. Tire Rack has the rim listed at 23.4 lbs for rim by itself.

I went with 18's because I had 2 brand new 245 45 18's in my garage from a previous total loss.

Got them about a month ago. Took a 1800 mile round trip down to Mardi Gras and no problems.

Assuming the tire width is 245/45-18, what is wrong with it? Just curious...

What's with the picture of the bashed-up Q-ship in the first post? Poor car....and the Q was another misunderstood oddity.

That bashed up 1998 Q45 had 2 brand new 245 45 18's on the rear before I was rear ended and it was considered a total loss. That is a big reason i went with new 18 inch wheels and tires instead of just replacing the stock 17's. You are right, that car was not a very popular model.
