Dull RL Wheels

Had my 06 RL in for the recall. While waiting, I walked thru the showroom and lot. The wheels on the TL caught my eye. TLs have better looking wheels than the RL. I commented about this to a salesman and he looked at me like I had two heads. Seems like many Acura sales perople are as dull as the RL wheels.

I replaced my RL wheels and tires with 18" from Tire Rack after I took delivery. Made a world of difference.

Just another case of Acura dropping the ball but I still love the RL.

I agree. I had 2004 TL and the wheels look much better than RL's.

Would that be the RonJon 18" Liquid Silver Legend and Pirelli PZero Nero M+S?

I believe stock 17" wheels weigh in at about 25 lbs, so these are about the same weight, maybe half a pound lighter. 18" A-Specs weigh about 27.5 is what I recall.

I agree. The previous RL had the same problem. Acura needs to fire the 70yr old woman they hired to choose the wheels for their cars. I guarantee they would see an increase in sales.

buzzmag... How about some pictures of the new wheels?!

Nice job. They go with that color of RL nicely.

Looks good buzzmag! Thanks for posting the pics!
Definitely an improvement... especially if you had the stock 17" wheels with the A-spec kit.
