i am now the proud few of aspec RL owners. it is the best upgrade i have done. i just had it put on by my dealer Acura of avon. i drove home with all smiles. i will have to get use to the alignment change but i love it. thought it would be lower drop.. if you want to mod your RL get the apsec suspen first!!

 

 

can you fill us in on exactly how you think it changed the car? I've heard nothing but great thigns about this mod - but I'm always interested to get another perspective.

also - what wheels / tires do you have now? Stock 17s with OEM MXM tires or do you have 18s or summer tires?

My car is bone stock, with 17" wheels, on the crap MXM tires...and just today I was amazed at HOW WELL my car burned throuhg a tight 90 degree turn... SH-AWD truly is amazing.... I can only imagine how great it would handle with 18" wheels on PS2s, with a-spec!

would it give my boxster a run for the money on a long sweeper? hmmmmm.... on the twisty backroads...my boxster would leave it in the dust...not many cars can transition like a small midengined roadster.... but on one single lone lnog sweeper... SH-AWD rocks!

I'm contemplating on getting the Aspec suspension with H&R springs. Just waiting for my wheels. I wonder if I upgrade the suspension, how the quality will feel with 19's

 

heres my take on aspec suspension, handling is improved, no more float. but you will definitely experience a bumpier ride when the road is not so smooth. it drops the back more then the front. add the 09 sway bar to flatten out turns. I just recently added 18 aspec wheels with nexen n7000 tires. and I have to say it is a major improvement over the stock rims n tires with this suspension. Handles better on turns and smoother then oem tires.
