Alignment question...
Alignment question...
While I was at the dealership this past weekend, I asked about their ability to install new tires and about doing an alignment after.
Well I was told something by the service advisor that has me puzzled... He said that doing an alignment has nothing to do with the wheels/tires installed. he said that it was actually better to have the alignment done prior to installing new wheels so that you would know that the alignment was correct before changing the wheel setup.
That makes absolutely no sense to me... I thought that toe in and camber, are all completely dependent on the wheel/tire combination you have.
Am I way off base?
