5x120 wheel adapter for what? Your wheels are 5x120... Are you talking about a spacer to push the wheels out?

i found these 5x120 to 5x114.3 wheel adapter which is a 1 inch spacer...but i dont really know anyone that has ever used a wheel adapter and I wanted to know if anyone had experiences with them...if they vibrate or safety issues. I called a couple of wheel shops to consider redrilliing and they all said it would make the rim weaker, so i kind of was going against redrilling them. In another thread someone said to use an adapter that changes the bolt pattern (aka wheel spacer) but I havent seen anyone reply on how the ride was. Just wanted a little feedback on it if someone used them before

Don't do it!! I tried to put my G37 wheels on RL. I bought wheel adapters off Ebay and this was final look. It was 1999 it would be cool, but not now. I took them off the next day.

Damn man! Were those like 11" wide or was the offset huge? Those stuck out like ambiguous' wheels. Do you think it would have looked better if they were flush with the well, or were they just completely off? Do you think it was the spacers or the lack of sidewall that killed the ride?

Yeah, it was bad, not bad meaning good, LOL! The wheels where 9.5 in the rear and 9 in the front. the 1 inch spacer made did make it look like 11'. I think is was both that killed the ride. If you hit a dip in the road around 40 MPH in the rear you heard sidewall. My suggestion don't do it. I'm selling my G37 19's and plan on get 5x120 wheels for my RL so I don't I have to worry any more that mess.

That's a bit of a different look, not really what I would like for mine. I have 20in KMC Dimes. I will try to get a few pics posted.

I recently dumped the PAX wheels and installed 20in KMC Dimes, with Kuhmo tires. However, I need a quick tutorial on adding pictures.

1) Find a website to host the pictures. Facebook, phucket, Gmail Photo, Flicker, etc. Any one will do.
2) Upload the photo to that host.
3) Right-click the photo and "Copy Image Location"
4) Click the yellow square with the mountain and sun above the post box and paste the link there.

If you can't see the photo in the post box, you won't see it in the thread.

That comment made me literally LOL!

I think spacers look good if you are somewhat lowered to not make wheels look like they are not even present. It pushes them out a little close to fender to give that flush look. If you are stock height, why even bother?
If you are lowered, I'd look into Ichiba V2 wheel spacers. I had those on my S2000 not just for stance but to have wider grip on track and at autox and they held up pretty well. Sold the car but still have spacers..lol

Try again. If you can't see the pic in the post window, it will not be visible in the thread.
