Can you share how much those wheels weight each? I am trying to decide between those and RonJon19s which weight in around 24-25lbs.
thanks

I don't remember. I'm thinking under 29lbs each. By the way, AFAIK Ron Jon Legends in 19x8 are closer to, if not slightly over, 27lbs each.

Let me know what you find out. I'm curious about the number...

TIA,

ok, thanks for sharing. Still deciding. I picked this up from another thread. There was a recent price drop also on the Ace Strada wheels.

Here are the wheel weights: Legends

18" x 8" with a 45mm offset- 23.4lbs
19" x 8" with a 45mm offset- 24.6lbs

Even the 19" wheel is lighter than the stock 17" x 8" wheel which weighs in at around 24-25 lbs.

That's good! For some reason the number 27 came to mind...

Tell me about the price drop on the Stradas! I curbed one and am looking for a replacement.

Thanks,

Here is a recent email reply from Ron on the wheel weights for the Legends

18" is approximately 22.5 lbs and 19" is about 25.5 lbs.

Thanks,
I am seeing them online now in 19x8.5 for around $228 each -$261. Not sure what you paid, seems like a recent price drop

Now that you have a few miles and things have settled , can you post an updated rear to front angled side shot? Trying to see if the H&R's are too low.
thanks

Called them up this morning as I could not get an email response. 28lbs for the Stradas in 19x8.5.

They said the Stradas fit, correct? I only ask because they sent me an email that said the Stradas do not fit.

The gist of the email asking about the Strada, which I think must be wrong because the photos in this string prove otherwise!

"This wheel will not clear the caliper of your car. Neither is the Allure in 19"

The only wheel we have to clear the caliper on that car (06 RL) is the Deluxe in 19" and Executive in 20"

Executive is 31 lbs and Deluxe 19" is 27 lbs

Guy on the phone said they would not fit and when pressed said they actually tested it. But all one has to do it to look at the pictures here and they seem to fit fine.
I sent a copy of this thread over to them for review.

Maybe in the (long-term) future?!?!? In the short term I've got the pulley and the CAI in mind, and the header if it ever materializes. we'll see...

I don't know what the dude was smoking, but it was not THAT good!!!!!

I believe there are 4 Stradas in 19" - 2 are 9.5" wide which won't fit the RL (wheels stick out too far) because of that and the offset is +38, The 8.5" wide comes in 2 hole patterns - 5x114.3 and 5x120 with the same offset of +38. Of course, we all know that the latter bolt pattern is what our cars call for.

Well, all I can say is that the wheels fit my car the way they were meant to and there was no magic to it. I actually mounted them on my car my self with the hubcentric rings and nothing else to them. It was actually more work trying to find the stupid lug nuts.....

Thanks for sharing. Good pics and nice driveway. The H&R's do not appear to be too low, just about right for my wheels.
I was looking at getting the A-Spec but am afraid they would be too high.
Thanks

It also depends where you live. Like i live in NYC and the H&Rs are about 1.5' all around (rear 1.4'). The Aspec is about 1' all around. you can also attack the A-spec suspension and get the H&Rs or you can get the coilovers:wish :

Thanks man! Yeah, the H&Rs are not that low but do make a HELL of a difference in handling, and a bit on ride firmness which I like... a LOT! I thought you said you're going with 20's... Assuming the offset is correct you should not get any rubbing unless you load up the back with people and again the offset is wrong leaving no room for the "tucking in" of the wheels.

Please take pictures once you lower her: I'd love to see how she looks with a lower stance.

Thx,

Roy!!! I vote A-spec. Even though it looks tacked on, it's still another mod. Doesn't look bad in my eyes

I was quoted by a local shop that it would take them 5 hours for the springs install. That's a long time compared to what it took you..

I agree, it should not take them that long. I did mine my self and even though I had most of the right tools (no lift!), it too us, my friend and I, less than 4 hours.

Good luck!

Oh crap! Too late. Everything is done. I found the shop from the nsxprime forum and the owner owns an NSX. It seems like many local NSX owners bring their cars over for maintenance so I figured they must know what they are doing - with a price!

Maybe I should have spent more time doing research looking for shops, but oh well, you win some and you lose some.
