New wheels

planning on some road trips and i decided to stick with comfort this time. plus i bent the hell out of my 20" that i had before thanks to crappy roads

Wheels are Avarus AV7 Machine and Anthracite 18x8 +45 offset. The Anthracite matches the OEM paint pretty good i guess i got lucky on that one.

running 245/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE760. This tire is pretty quiet so far i got about 120 miles on them. Grip is amazing compared to DWS

here is a crappy cell phone pic should have some good pictures next week or so when i get off my lazy ass with the cameras

The RE760's handle quite a bit better than the DWS because they are a summer tire and the DWS is an all season. I've run the RE760's before. They are good tires but they wear quickly. I didn't really feel like they had the dry weather performance to back up the rapid wear. They wore quicker than my Pilot Sport PS2's and had half the grip. They are pretty quiet for a performance tire though.

The wheels look nice. Very understated.

I was going to try the Conti DW but been the current tire is on closeout and very limited warranty and was told that dealing with closeout warranty for Conti is beyond a headache.

Dealing with any kind of warranty issue with Continental is a headache...Bridgestone too for that matter. That's why I always recommend buying from a reputable local vendor with a stellar history of customer service.

I always go with Tirerack. As for tires, I'm amazed how well these all season khumos have held up...they never break loose from my spirited driving (of course an autocross would prove different).
