The 2nd gen Legend Coupes are still one of my most favorite cars. Timeless design that still looks sharp today.

The coupe is my favorite of the two. I think I spend/spent more money on the coupe than the RL. Still worth every penny!

They should've named the RL the Legend. That might have brought back some old Legend owners. The 2G Legend, and especially the coupe, is still the best car Acura ever sold.

Thanks guys! The legend has been with me for about 8 years now. The RL is my daily driver and legend is for joy drives. I'm on the verge of doing a six speed conversion on the legend. I'll post more pics when I'm done.

I sold my '95 Legend L Sedan to help pay for my '06 RL. I didn't warm to the 2G Legend while I had my 1G Legend coupe, but it became a clear choice when it was time to go for something with extra doors. It's a car that was ahead of its time, and still looks good today on the road, the coupe even more. It certainly held up well in the 10 years that I owned it.

You know, there's just something cool about a car where the grille, surrounded by a single piece of painted sheet metal, lifts up with the hood. Very tight!

I would LOVE to find a legend coupe to play with. They were way before their time. Beautiful cars!

There's tons of it for sale. Although if you're looking for a six speed, it might be a little difficult to get.

Pulley installed

The Factory

Aftermarket

It was raining today so I didn't really try to feel the gain, but when the weather gets better I'm going to see what it can do.

The pulley is on your RL?

Which one did you get?

What are the weight differences?

Is it undersized?

By how much?

Yes, the pulley is on my RL. The part is manufactured from Unorthodox Racing.

Touge, a fellow forum member helped me with the purchase. He has all the information you need.

Glad you finally got it installed, it looks great in there John !. Your intake should be arriving soon

Chas2, the new pulley is ~7 lb lighter than stock. It is a underdriven pulley. I did some calculations and it was 18% underdriven over stock.

Aem Cai

I installed the CAI over the weekend. I had to bug Touge and UW RL couple of times(much thanks).

I took the liberty of taking pictures from the bottom of the car. This is without the tire and fenderliner. I hope it helps other forum members for future install.

Nice cars. I loved my 95 Legend Coupe but it was an automatic, (could never find a low mileage manual one), so when the 6speed 2003 CLS came out, I traded in.

Coupes are not a priority with Honda any more, they discontinued most all their coupes - Prelude, CL, NSX, RSX, S2000. A coupe version of the RL would hit the sweet spot for me.

Thanks. As for the RL Coupe, I was thinking the exact same thing. A six speed RL Coupe.

Yep, and it's a lot easier than the cai. Just get the right belt and that's it.

WTT:

I have a nighthawk black 2005 RL. I'm looking for someone to trade my trunk lid with someone with the same nighthawk black without the spoiler/lip installed. The spoiler is drilled into the trunk lid and I would like to do a swap with another forum member.

Please contact me through PM.

JDM Headlights Installed!!

I finally got the JDM lights installed, thanks to Touge. They look really great in person but, I just can't take pictures for crap. Also, the body kit should be installed on monday so I'll take more time to take better pics then.

This is without the flash on.

With Flash.

I suck at taking pictures and also I need a better camera.
(Sam, you've got to teach me how to take better pictures.)

They are the 5Zigen Exhaust. It's a lot quiter than I first anticipated.

Thanks for all your help Sam.
