Morimoto HID's Installed 6000k

I installed these bout 3 weeks ago...actually my buddy did. Morimoto 6k fogs and 6k D2S. Both 35watt, didn't want to attempt the 55watt process. Light output is good, so far no one has flashed me. I kind of regret not going 3000k for the fogs. But oh well. THey match really relly well.

Also, the bottom pics is where the ballast was installed for the fogs, behind the reinforcement plate to prevent water from getting them as well as giving decent flow to cool the ballasts. Loctitite was used to prevent any screws from rattling loose.

Looks good man. I don't understand why my 6000k look so blue compared some pics I see here. Your night pic is closer, but still not what I'm working with. I look forward to going 5000k for both low beams and fog/DRL.

Did you put projectors in the fogs? That is likely my next mod, but I haven't decided on which ones.

If you dont mind me asking, is there a significance to the front plate?

I would drop the whole set up in a heart beat if it was legal here.

Nope, no projectors in fogs. Cameras will vary how HIDS look depending on the camera. As do the quality of the bulbs.

Because my RL was originally purchased at Acura of Manhattan which requires front/rear plates. Florida does not, so instead of ripping it off and exposing 4 holes in my front bumper I replaced it with an Acura Frame. When my A-Spec front bumper comes in I will be removing it and getting the whole bumper painted.

I had that set up but the low and fog didn't match well...even tho it was both Morimoto 6k...prob cause I didn't have projector in fog. Changed to 3k for fog since I don't plan on doing projector in fogs anytime soon haha...anyways, looks good!

OH NO! Mine is on it's way from Ohio and the dealer told me the bracket was installed from the grille. That is going to look terrible! How am I going to fix this? Are there some plugs I can get so I can paint them and fill the holes or do I have to replace the bumper. I am really bummed about this. Would have thought twice if I thought there were holes in the bumper.

That is the correct way to do it, I wouldn't be too concerned. My dealership in Manhattan were a bunch of dopes.

Nice! My Morimotos just came in too and this is my first time ordering from them and one of the things that intimidated me is the heavy duty relay harness for the H11 like where did you mount the relays,

mount the relays in the driver side wheel well. you can use the bolts holding the intake airbox and use that to secure it.

Where did you also install the 2nd ground wire, I already installed the ground and the positive one on the battery lol I just don't know where to put the 2nd ground I'm not really in any rush lol I have the whole weekend to do this lol I just finished my D2S headlight bulbs the only thing left for me to do is figure out how to wire all this stuff and last question is where exactly do I put the harness input. I feel like a big dumbass for asking so many questions lol maybe i'll start up a thread but maybe someone here can tell me real quick
