Here it is...

Got to go to work so I kinda rushed it....I'll post some interior driving sound later on. When I downshift, it is very throaty...not too loud and very deep. When I push it, nice deep sound...almost like infiniti!

That's pretty bad ass visual mods.. i like the emblems a lot.

Ya I got the jpipe ordered...if it's too loud, I can always put my resonator back on. As of now, in person, it sounds wicked nice...not crazy loud and when u punch it, it's very throaty and deep...and ya, emblems are cool...nothing too crazy but def a nice touch. That's all the lighting for my car lol...anything else would be too much.

i like the front emblem. would like to see it with the turn L or R only. also the exhaust sounds nice. congrats. cant wait for the jpipe sound.

also for the red inside projector u should have told him to leave it and to use as show only. make a separate switch.

while your car was on, i herd a click click click. in front, thats how my car sounds, but dealer told me that the valves need to be adjusted. the tech who owns an rl, said should sound quiet. he said its best to adjust the valve when doing the 105k service.

Hmmm...that click was before I started my car..if we're talking about the same click. I heard some sort of clicks before I bought the car and my mechanic who knew what was wrong with my Audi at the time when no one else did said that the clicking he heard was fine..he did also tell me that I need valve adjusted. So I don't think it's the same click..also, this car only has 40k miles

Thanks for the compliment, I just got tail light retired and had my friend do a driveby for me since the drone from running no resonator was getting kinda annoying..however, once I heard it on the outside, it was sick! ESP when he let the gas go, all you hear is a throaty sound.

I agree with you but no point for me to spend extra $100 for dual led..broke! Also, I rather just have a dimmer remote...

Loving the mods. I'm big on lighting so the halos and puddle lights are definitely a plus for me. Emblems are nice and unique as well. Keep it up!

The very top of your bumper guards?

theNBP, Are you talking about a clicking coming from the engine bay at idle and very low RPM? Legend #1 always did that for me and this one does too. I was thinking about starting a thread to gauge the commonality and hopefully find the root cause, normal or not.

looks good, blk on blk.

and your headlights look like fog is on inside or am i wrong?

for the sound. its when at idle and of course car is on. as sniffles says and i stand corrected, valves do need adjusting like the acura tech said. and i have 100k miles and he told me its not really normal because it should be quite. and 007 start the thread. lol

Ya..my mechanic said my clicking is what every Honda sounds like..I trust him cause he heard the clicking on my Audi and he diagnosed it as the timing chain shaft or something lol..so before I bought this car at only 38K, I asked him if I should be worried and he said no. He said to tighten the valves at 100k but that's pretty much it.

I didn't notice it when I took the pic but when I was uploading it, I guess the camera didn't catch the halo as well...it is really bright so when I get module in, I am gonna dim it...but no fog in headlight....yet lol

The clicking is a purge solenoid that gets noisy on all Hondas which is why all Hondas seem to have that noise. Chnage the purge solenoid ~$49 and the sound should go away. I'd do that first because adjusting the valves could get a lil pricey and if someone doesnt know what they're doing the engine goes :boom: If the ticking still there after pruge solenoid changed, then its the valves. Unless someone puts a mechanics stethescope on the heads and diagnoses it as the valves LOL

That's cool. I don't need details but others may. Are your high beams affected?

Hmm good question..never checked since I had led in it...so I never bothered to use it. But he told me that he ran it so that when I do use it, it uses the full power...which is prob why I have no drl anymore

I figured it may just be something that doesn't get used much. I created a switch that takes the DRL signal and turns on a relay that can be used anywhere really. I decided to run it to my fogs. The switch takes the DRL signal from the factory bulb harness, so the input is plug and play. No need for pulled relays or other mods.

How easy is the plug and play? And you should really think about making a few kits and selling it.... Just a thought.

Plugging the switch in is very simple. I had to tap into my positive fog light wire for the output. That was the hardest part and still pretty simple.

I have started looking into making some switches now that work has slowed down. Hopefully I could have something by mid-April.

Exhaust sounds nice. I like the halos surprisingly. You see them a lot on the TL forum and I think they look terrible on the 3rd gen TL. They actually suit the RL much better. I think they look better on the RL because of the overall bigger headlight and the staggered sizes of the DRL and projector. Nice job.

Thank you! It looks sick in person...I drive at night with them on...not much visibility but I just love the halos....

Stuff I done already:

-AEM CAI
-Blue LED Interior
-USA Spec Ipod
-5000K Low/6000K HID Fog (looks white)/LED DRL
-Tinted tail light with reverse cut out
-Tint all around
-12in JL Sub and Amp
-LED Reverse Light
-LED License Plate
-Resonator removed
-Blacked out Front and Rear Emblems
-Debadged

Future Mods:

-6000K Morimoto Low and Fog
-Aspec Kit all around
-Lowering on H&R Springs
-Custom headlight (Carbon fiber corner, black out housing, CCFL Halos)
-09 RL Rear Sway
-Dechroming ALL the chrome
-LED Emblems
-20in Savini BM-3 Staggered or 19in Works by Zelaya (when he decides to sell it!)
-P2R Throttle Body Spacer

My car is going in the shop next coming weekend and I will have everything done minus the rims.....rims is a delicate process lol. Let me know what you guys think and I'll be posting pics when I get my car is back!

(PM me if anyone is interested in the OSRAM Cool Blue 5000K...only used for 1 month)

what did you do to your exhaust? it sounds nice in the videos... it sounds louder than the 5Zigen... but not as loud/raspy as some of the custom systems I've heard.

if it's a custom system - what exact parts did they use and what did it cost?

Thanks...I used the Injen Universal Titanium Mufflers about $190 ea, took my resonator out (don't do it if you don't want drone) and 2.5 piping..Total including labor came out to about under $700

Everyone that hears it in person says its a good sound and def not ricey so go for it!

Nice wheels and I'm sure this will look nice with BBK. I wonder what's the weight. I checked their website and didn't see it on their line of wheels. What's the price tag on this wheel. Are you thinking doing staggered setup?

staggered would be sick....but even tho as long as you match the rolling diameters...theres no evidence that it won't harm the car in the long run....most ppl that run the staggered don't really drive the car long term. I plan on keeping it for a little while so I'll prob stick to the safer side. These are vossens so I am sure its going to be on the heavier side...its due out in May with the silver polished...the matte graphite is what I want and should be coming in later. no price tag on it yet but I am thinking around $2600 with tires on 20in. Thats what my guy offered me on all the other vossen rims. I'll try to stay on top of it !

I'm sure 20's looks nice but you're be hauling that heavy wheel. The only good thing about 20's is the tires are very cheap.

True...but I already made up my mind that this car isn't built for speed...so I'm not too worried. I'm just building this car more for looks. It's got enough power for my liking and if I do want to go faster, I do that on my bike!

If those r concave, ur best bet is to go staggered because the 8.5 width in the front doesn't give enough concave effect especially if its all around.

Those r hot though. Im thinking bout going Vossen as well this week being that I sold my concave Stance wheels
