Hi Bob!

I had the underdrive pulley installed. The cast iron one they pulled out felt like a BRICK compared to this 1/2 pound bad boy. It took them WAY too long to put it on, but they ordered 2 different belts before they found the right size.... They had the car for about 4 hours, but I figure only an hour of that was actually spent on it.... It definitely feels like more low-end torque, but it could simply be the engine spooling. So hard to tell on these types of things. It's a worthwhile mod for the price though, definitely....

On a side note, my other "RL" had a stage 2 intercooler and upgraded exhaust installed today....Now, talk about LOW END TORQUE!

Glad to see you finally installed it Jay . Yeah the stock pulley is really heavy on the RL. I think it's 8.5 lb if I recall correctly!.

HUGE THANKS to you Touge for making my RL what it should have been from the factory. Can't wait to watch your next project.

Just added Gravana 19" Black/Chrome J2's to my "other RL".

No pics, I didn't stick around to watch the install. I haven't experienced any noise from it though. Just an additional punch at acceleration.

Well all, just traded in the RL. It was a great car, but time for something new. I put up an original shop manual, as well as some other things in the Black Market if anyone is interested.

I traded it in on a 2009 CTS 3.6DI. Everything is still on it, so hopefully the new owner will stop by and see his/her car! I highly doubt they'll ever know the UDPulley has been upgraded, but the other upgrades are obvious.... I've enjoyed everyone's company here and still am very fond of the RL, it just didn't have the power (even with upgrades) that I was looking for and the constant small issues were getting on my nerves.

I did a trade in at a dealer, so they'll have to find it on their own, but hopefully they will.

Good choice, Jay. I'm a big CTS fan. If I were in the market, that's what I'd buy right now. I am seriously considering a CTS-V, in fact. Just waiting for GM to get off their ass and give us the MSRP for the 2009.

Can you say 556 hp? I can.

That V Series is a BEAST. Did you hear it ran the Nurenburg (sp?) in under 8 mins. Fastest time ever for a production sedan. The 3.6DI was pretty surprising to me, it really pops. 0-60 times are 5.9. I don't plan on doing any upgrades to it, my upgrading is focused on my Redline Sky (which is pushing around 300 at the wheels and weighs in at less than 3000lbs.... )
