Honda Legend

Hi guys,

I am on vacation in Taiwan, and I came across a Honda Legend. They are pretty rare here. In 30 days, I only saw two of them, and one was the 2004 model.

So just in case you wanted to see a true Honda Legend:

It was parked in front of a Porsche Cayman. This area of town is chock full of Mercedes S-class, Lexus LS, and other such cars.

Cool. I have yet to see an 05-08 version at Taiwan. Last time I saw one was like an 04 model too.

Come to think of it, I should have just imported the car from Taiwan, so then it'll be like having a Legend with a left hand side driver's seat. Easier said than done though.

that's crazy talk... the cars there cost more than twice as much... it's absurd what they pay for cars in Taiwan...

From what I remember, it looked like an 04 RL, but just had the Honda and Legend badge. I also remember seeing an Acura Integra there(pre RSX), someone must have rebadged it into an Acura.

I see.. the interior features were a bit different from US spec from what I rememeber though.. rear heated seats that reclined, stuff like that.

Most likely, they always get the good stuff over there. I just saw one pass by, lol. So it just looked like a rebadged RL

I saw two first gen RL's to be exact.

One was a Black 04, and it had Acura badges on everything. It was the darndest thing because I even peeked inside and saw it had an Acura logoed steering wheel. It must have been imported from the States. It was parked outside of a bank, in the employee parking lot, so it must have belonged to somebody important no doubt.

The second "first gen RL" had Legend badges and was from the earlier series (the pre 99 series). I snapped one picture of it before it took off, so I will have to dig through my pics to find it.

I was in HK and Guangzhou and Dongguan China this pass April and I never seen one on the road yet. People there buys either BMW, Benz or Porsche. To them Honda or Acura is nothing to them.
