I will be moving quite slowly w/ my project for my 2006 RL.

Good start, looking forward to see the progress. My first choice was a Black and Black but my neighbor has that setup so i went to choice 2. Take your time with the mod as if you do it to quickly not only will drain your pocket but you want to enjoy every single mod and do a lot of research. Unfortunately there's not a lot aftermarket mod in the market for the RL.

 

Today is "PlastiDip" mod day.
I will post after pics after I'm done.

 

Is that ceramic tint? My only critique is the distance of the camera from the car. Step back a touch on the next pics so we can take it all in at once.

 

No tint at all.
I took those pics to show how much chrome accents are on the car.

Since I will be doing the PlastiDip mod, I wanted to clearly see a "before" until I get to the "after"

are you doing to dip all the chrome in color and "de chrome" it???

you need dark tint! and a rear spoiler!! first two mods!

then wheels and a drop... i did tint and a spoiler right away..and have been lagging on the wheels/drop!

 

I *WAS* supposed to Plasti-Dip.
It's basically a way to make the chrome parts slightly darker.
Great part of it is, no debadging and it's totally reversible.
Don't like how it came out? Peel it off and try again.

Yes all chrome will 'dechrome it'
I've yet to see a black on black RL w/ this done (properly).
I do want a rear spoiler. Should I rock out the A-Spec spoiler?

I do want a lower and wheels as well.
Is A-Spec the choice amongst you folks for lowering / springs / shocks ?

I've got my eyes on some 19 inch Axis Pentas for the wheels.
