THAT looks good! The side views are awesome with those wheels. They go much better with the 2009 than with the 2005-08!

Ron, you need to make an aftermarket grille to replace the Power Phlegm grille.

Wheels look good, even better on the 09+. But the 09+ RL, The giant robot Johhny Sako grill has to go.

The wheels are very nice, I'm biased because I have a set, but that 09 RL leaves something to be desired though. The visceral response I get from the front end is not good.

Wheels look really nice on that car. First time Ive seen the trunk spoiler and I like it too. With as many people out there that dont like the front I would hope that I could pick up a gently used 09 in a few years when It falls into my price range.

new RL looks good, however new TL 09 has been a close to a disaster. Not many ppl like it.

i think its the lighter colors that helps the RL look not as bad. The front grill doesn't look as out of place as it does on the darker paint schemes. i have to agree with neuronbob, these rims do look a lot better on the 09 RL.

That DOES look AWESOME... except when you look at the front!!

Someone needs to come up with a different grill and that car could be a keeper...

Ron, what's holding you up Bud???

aside from the bottom of the tail lights where it follows the bumper cover, it looks as though the overall shape of the tail lights is pretty much the same as the older ones.

I still think the current tail lights are better looking than the 09. The details inside the housing are tremondous - they look like jet fighters afterburners.

Nowadays most LED tail lights are plain, in a sense that the manufactures simply throw on a few LEDs and call it a day. If you look at the 05-08 RL tails you will notice that inside the housing the structures that hold the LEDS are beautiful and unlike any other on the market.

UW RL I do agree. The hedlights are fairly intricate as well. That's why I never get tired of the RL. as neuronbob loves to say, the RL remains one of the best kept secrets out there. =)

That side/back view makes that car look great.... and with those rims it actually makes me wonder...
I'm real big on those chrome strips under the doors.. would that be an easy swap?

I am still disappointed in Acura. The 05-08 RL was one of my top 5 favorite sedans.

The only thing I do like about the 09 is the rear. It doesn't look good on a RL, but it is an attractive rear. The 08 RL didn't have a lot of creases and sharp corners, thus the smooth, luxurious, classy, technologically advanced look. The 09, the front matches the back, but the side of the car doesn't flow well. It's too smooth.

I can't stand that Acura messed up the best looking sedan it's ever made.

I don't like the look of that newer style front end they are running on all their models.

Regardless...that '09 is super clean.

Hey guys, Thanks for the compliments on my 09 rl with the ronjon wheels, I am taking my car next week and getting the grill painted like they are doing on the tl's, Maybe that will make the front grill look a little better, I have also checked on lowering springs and that is a no go, No one out there makes them yet for the 09 rl

hmmm, will be interesting to see how that turns out.

I also assumed since this was just a mmc, that springs from 05-08 would work.... guess not.
