it's already tinted. 40% Kuper Optik cheramic...*sigh*

as I said before, I'll never get pulled over for tints.

Grill was previously photochopped...I guess I need to post here as well.

You are in serious need of some wheels.

Also, NYC without bumper guards. I know they are ugly but almost a requirement with all of the idiots out there that bumper park their cars.

LOL, I see it. For those that are not familiar with NYC, it is practically accepted to bump cars front and rear while squeezing into a spot. No one will even bat an eye unless your the owner of a nice red RL. Sucks. Those stock wheels actually are not too bad on the lowered RL. But that rear end...oh my, I like what Acura did with that.

I see it, too. Accepted, my ass, I'd be MOST displeased with bumper scrapes. Luckily, here in Cleveland, this is not too much an issue.

the ride reminds me of my TL, a bit roughter than before.

Haven't really had the chance to feel a handling difference...got stuck with passengers who don't appreciate extra G forces.

As far as the bumper, it's more dirty than beat up.

I have no plans to paint it up, maybe put something over it...don't know yet.

You may want to disable comments on youtube. The 09 is not getting love there.

thanks for letting me know about the comments. I usually don't get any. Let people speak, I'm curious what they think.

Sometimes it's kinda funny to see how little they know.

Most of them think quad tippers are stock.

Even more of them are repeating what other sites say about the grill. I guess I should photochop competitor grills next to RL and see if they like that better

Nothing surprising for me here. Should post a rear shot instead, the results would be more favorable. The overwhelming consensus everywhere is that Acura made a huge mistake with the front. You could post this a hundred times and not change that kind of opinion. Sure there are exceptions, but few.

My ranking
1)BMW
2)Audi
3)Lexus
4)Benz
5)Infiniti
6) Acura last, change the duck beak to something decent and it will shoot straight to the top somewhere

I'd need to be shot in the foot to pick Infiniti or Lexus over Acura grill

I agree with you on that note. I didn't like the Acura grill at first but after seeing so many pictures of it and seeing it in person. It is not ugly as some people think.

that is completely subjective just as my opinion below is.

I'm not saying the Infiniti grill is nice, it is horrible, but the Acura grill to me is comical, downright ridiculous. Belongs on a Ford Focus. Change that grill and the car will take on a whole new look. It could be worse, it could have a comic book front and rear like the new TL.

Perhaps Acura is just ahead of the rest of the world. But hey, if you like it, who cares what others think? Not sure you really do like it though as you have made reference to changing it to some sort, unless it grew on you. If it means anything, the rear of the new RL is one of the best out there. So put some NOS on the car so that nobody can see the front.

I can't say a lot of people get to pass me, and when they view my front from the back, they are hit with 4 HIDs. I think there are no complaints.

And yes, I think the front on the RL looks good. TL is worse. My personal is the Audi.

But honestly, the new CTS front kicks @$$.

^ holy.......

You NEED to paint the grille... And I think a matching red would be the winner. but even that black can be good too if done RIGHT. I'd leave the back alone.. but I see where you're goin since the back part would really be the only chrome, well that and the lower sides....

Oh, and not a fan of gold badges I hate seein that trash unless you're goin for a gold type look with the red.....

BTW, Audi or BMW grille wins hands down... LS grille is pretty f'n baller too..... After my RL grille of course.

I am checking out the 18"s as they match the stock size.

19" is not a good size tire wise and I would like to be able to keep my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S as I got a good deal on em and it's an excellent tire.

Either way, I am not close to being able to afford new rims...just thinking out loud.

Gold wheels? On a luxury sedan? I think i have to disagree as this is no WRX trying to be RickyRacer here. Its tough to do something with that grill though im with most that say the body color looks to be one of the better options.

I'm surprised the Ford grill made MB the #1 on that poll...
