037 - 09 RL CMBS Redondo Red

First decent photos of the car. Mods so far 5k HID fog lights, PIAA Sillicone wipers, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Also, installed Escort ZR3 laser shifter and waiting to put back Escort Passport 8500 X50 Blue after it's fixed.

I don't think I'll be lowering it. Seems to be plush enough over bumps yet stays on the road well. I got pulled over for merging onto a highway at 90mph on a curved half loop...felt solid. If I could figure out how to drop maybe 500lb...now that would definitely help.

I like it. Question: What is that behind the grille? The radar?

Yes...I was having thoughts about it, and I even photochopped it quite a few, it came out superbly ugly. Red was too bright. Then I tried to go with black and that was ugly...

If you got better PhotoChopping skills, please, impress me.

I was quoted $100-$150 to paint it professionally.

I can try whatever you want as long as you're financing it.

I was thinking of going with red...but then wouldn't I need to paint the back to match? and then...the back wouldn't really look good as it doesn't seem broken to begin with.

I think if you get it hardwired, it would look like a cleaner install

cool my questions
since you are local lol

1. Did you do the hardwiring yourself or did someone do it for you?
2. Where did you get the Escort GT2 and how much?

1. I had a local tech do it for me in BK, really nice guy who doesn't charge too much
2. I paid $50 on ebay for it, brand new.

All it needs is power...I'm sure you can hardwire it. It also does not need to see the road, just attach it horizontally.
