actually...I let that taurus pass...it's slightly modified with a supercharger and what not.

I believe it was FX35 and he was the Caravan leader...who got lost at least twice and came to the meet last.

That wasn't a race.

I've never looked into it but is there a A-Spec package for the 09 RL?

Good question. With Acura selling <300 RLs a month, I'd be surprised if there was.

I personally wouldn't drive like that... dodging thru traffic but even if I did.... my CMBS would be going off crazy, with sudden braking. Do you not have that option or do you have it disabled?

That video is mesmerizing. I wouldn't have the balls to dodge traffic like that, but damn, impressive. And you signaled each lane change.

I turned CMBS off about the 2nd time it tried to kill me...I would never turn it off if my wife was driving.

yea...I always signal. Plus if I have time to signal it means whatever I'm doing is not that crazy. When I stop signaling...that's when u know u gotta stop.

that wasn't planned like that...I was gonna pass one car, then I saw an opening for a 2nd and then a third.

car was rock solid and I was nowhere near triple digits. angle of the camera made it look closer than it really was, but the intake sure does sound sweet!

anyone notice the gear change right before the first pass? I was in 3rd gear for all 3 passes.

Awesome video! Your car looks great but the exhaust tips are bugging me. Are they just dirty in that picture?

How long did it take for you to get your coilovers? I just ordered a set of comfort sports from heeltoe and am so impatient.

car riding too low, wife would knock the nose right off unless I raise it back up (she doesn't even have a license yet).

The car is mine...but she needs to travel 30mi each day and I don't have a beater to give her...

so with any luck I'll find an excuse to buy another car...and maybe have her pay for it

or...I'll be taking the bus a lot.

Im sorry but there is no way im letting anyone who's a new driver drive my RL. Get her a 500.00 car. get her a 91 CRX HF or a 92-93 Civic. I do have a question. Why is she just now getting her license? Keep your car how it is. Its gorgeous. Hell take some time and teach her how to drive the car how it sits. If you think she'd scrap the bumper as it sits then you have a lot more to worry about when it come to her driving abilities...

I already gave her some lessons on the way the car is now, it scrapes on everything in the winter time.

I figure better she scrape the car that's already been scraped by me than get her a new car and have her scrape that...

I don't wanna get her a POS car cause I'm worried about safety, plus I got CMBS which was never really used, so I'd like to get my moneys worth by having the car watch out for my wife when I'm not around. I wish a $500 car would do the trick but it won't.

P.S. My wife drove my TL into a tree and put it on 3 wheels even after I pulled the hand brake at all of 5mph on a turn

I guess good luck with her diving the RL then. You knew a lowered car in NYC wasn't a very smart move...lolol. I think you'll be posting pix of the car on a thread sooner than later.

I think she'll be fine. She preferred the plushy ride anyway and extra clearance does help in the winter.

I won't be going w/ summer tires any more but winter tires seem like a logical next step.
