not really sure how you're holding on for your life...but 1080p was just too much for the connection I'm on, it looks infinitely better even though the sound still sux.
I recorded 2 more from the position of roof scope which are just too big to upload.

On another not... I don't know how you can see with those dark headlights .
#370
headlights aren't dark, but I think they don't shine as far since I'm lowered. I'm bout to stuff 50w fogs in there again and maybe figure out a way to stuff 50's in the low beams as well
the video is dark...that's the cam.

You should get JDM. Do 5000k Bulbs in stock location and 3000k 35watt in fogs. Very IS300. Yellow cuts through the weather whether its heavy rain/snow/fog. I wouldn't make fogs brighter than headlights so stay same wattage. Would look very classy on your car and best of all you can see...lol.
#372
not really sure what you want me to do to be JDM...but I really don't care for that kinda stuff.
Here is my car with yellow fogs
35w (and I have 3 sets at this point) were always showing greenish, which is disgusting.
I went with 50 watt yellows (pictured) and those were yellow, but did not hold up very well on stock wiring.
Now I am going 8k low beams (35w) and 50w fogs @ 8k.
My visibility is fine and cars get out of my way faster. I like a little color in my low beams.
I also have 50w 6k low beams standing by for when I can figure out how to use them...

just a small mod update:
1. 8k 50w fog lights, hard wired
2. 5k 35w reverse lights hard wired
3. replaced left tire liner
4. fixed hanging trunk liner leftover from reverse hid project
5. removed Escort ZR3 shifter, installed Blinder M47 extreme w/ parking sensors
future:
6k low beam hid (will hopefully fix the going out lights issue)
possible removal of roof scope/sunroof visor
summer shoes
misc: swapped out all brake pads for Satisfied GranSport 6

6k low beams and 8k 50w fogs installed.
Don't mind the fact that low beams look like 8k and fogs like 5k, I'm getting that taken care of.

and here's another random one for those who picture RL as a vehicle type "boat"

3k 50w fogs installed, swapped back to summer setup, RJs with Continental DW tire. So far haven't made them squeel and I tried.
on a side note, the tire shop gave me back all 4 tires at 45psi...so please, watch out for incompetence so you don't blow anything.

had a crazy idea...what if I got my wife....a used RL....instead of a new Sonata Turbo.
does anyone even have 2 RLs in the same family anywhere in the world?
we'll see what the prices are after she gets her license...crazy idea none the less. After all, RLs make the best used cars...

just wanted to throw in an update on Continental Extreme DW summer tires. First of all, my highway mileage went down by 1 to 20mpg in relatively spirited driving.
Secondly, I think these tires have waaay more grip than I have a use for, I've tried and I don't think I even came close to pushing it.
For example, 35 ramps @ 75 are now a reality and without tire squeel.

now...a hypothetical question...if I was to sell my car and get a Genesis 5.0, does anyone else want to buy it?
I'm at 47k right now, with all outstanding little mod issues fixed up and in working order. Couple scrapes all around as is typical for NYC and AcuraCare warranty good for 4 years or 120k mi.
I'm just curious what it would be worth at this point, it's CMBS btw w/ two sets of wheels running newest and baddest conti tires.
I will get more pics at some point since I upgraded all my photo equipment.

those new hyundais look nice eh?
what about the new TL SH-AWD... i really want to test drive one..but don't know if I'm really ready for another car....
on a side note.. a co worker just bought a new car, brand new Camaro SS with a stick shift. he took me for a quick ride. when he fired it up the V8 rumble (he has the optional sport exhaust) was awesome.. .it's no RL / luxury car..but it was NOT the complete POS inside I was expecting..
the song "bitchen camaro" kept going through my head....
your RL looks good BTW.... are you back on your stock wheels? where are your Ronjons? off for winter? how does teh car ride/drive when you swap from the ronjons to the OEMs? aren't they both 18s.. I would assume the ride would be very similar???
have you ridden inside Blazin's RL and compared how the ride is..s ince you have 18s and he has the 17s now.. and you BOTH have H&Rs right? similar ride or do the two cars ride very diffferently due to possible suspension changes from the 05-08 vs 09+?
just curious..
sometimes I think of doing wheels/tires and H&Rs and then I think maybe I ought to just buy a new TL.... i saw one the other day and it looked slick... more aggressive looing than the RL.... even with aspec kit... the new TL with the body kit looks tight...
those videos are nice... i saw that camera at the sporting good store and wonderd when I'd see it pop up here... nice work!

Styling of the Genesis doesn't excite me all that much...but the specs do.
I was going to get the TL awd before I got the deal on the RL, I actually prefer RL look to that of TL.
No Camaro for me in the future, need to have 4 doors.
I am back on RJs right now w/ summer tires. The ride is comparable to stock wheels as both have Continental tires, one all season, one summer.
I've never tried Blazing's car and probably never will. We are both running H&R springs so the ride should be very comparable.
H&R is a good upgrade, car is more planted, the drop is ideal and the ride quality is no worse than the TL I used to own.

Im glad you changed up the HID's. The 3000k Fog lights look great. A detail is def in order. There is no way I could have a nice car up north (or live there...lol) w/o a garage. Are car washes not open there during the winter? I get my car washed year round here. They do na great job too at the one I go to. All that salt and grime just isn't good for any cars paint and even worse tom leave it on there until spring. Please post pix after detail please...
