Weather for an '06?
I saw an ad for the 2010 RL that said it has real time weather. Is that for only 2010 or is it retro back to '05 cars? How does one get it, if it is a retro fit?

Yes, the 2010 does have realtime weathe updated every 45 secs. Not sure is earlier models can be retrofitted - would most like require the XM module and not just a software update.

My 2005 RL (as do most of them) has the XM radio module. Does that mean that a software update could add the feature?

XM weather is not an available feature on '05-'08 model years and a software update will not add this feature.
