USA Spec PA15-AcuXL Ipod Connection Issues
Hello All,
A few ago I installed USA Spec PA15-AcuXL. It works great except for two minor issues...
1. The 30pin Ipod connector does not connect to the bottom of my Ipod properly. I have an Ipod Touch and the wait of the cable seems to slightly disconnect from the Ipod causing static and "white noise" to come out as the music is playing on the cars speakers. If I fool around with the connection and push it back into the Ipod it begins to work again, but if I place my Ipod on the armrest or the passanger seat, the movement of the car will cause the cable to slip out again. I don't know if my Ipod is defective or if this is a known issue, since the cable seems to be heavy and the Ipod Touch is very small and light. I guess a good option would be to get an Ipod clip or holder to keep it from moving, but I really don't want to get one as (in my opinion) makes the interior of my car look cheezy.
2. Another issue I have is that I decided to use AUX on the USA Spec PA15-AcuXL so I can use the 3.5mm jack on other deviced like my laptop or a portable DVD player. However, when I plug the the 3.5mm jack into my Ipod the music begins to skip and play quicker. This does not happen on non-ipod devices like a phone, but was just wondering if anyone else noticed this issue and what could be the cause of it.
Thanks for your time
