Trip computer

My trip computer does not reset at fill ups as I have set. It is 33 all the time. Just came up 95, 495 miles in 7.5 hours right over gw bridge. All other functions seem to work, ideas?

GO PATS

Are you saying that it doesn't ever change from 33?

Maybe try resetting the setting again.

Correct, start the car up, time is zero, speed is 33 and fuel is 20.5 for trip 1, everything for trip outer should be tied to THAT trip a or b right.

just to be clear, are you resetting at the MID, or are you expecting the car to start a new trip on the nav display?

the way i read it, you can automatically have trip reset at a Fill up, which it does, Trip A goes to zero and B continues to increment. I would hope that as you scroll through your possible values speed MPG… depending on which trip your on that speeds, MPG etc would be for that trip. I did notice today that Speed was at 34 for first time ever WTFO !!!! So, for you when you fill up and the trip goes to zero what are your values? I am going to do a manual trip reset and not do a reset by fill up and see what happens. Thanks for your thoughts…

Got it. When people say trip computer, that usually means the trip-meter, but you were referring to the average speed.

My average speed does not reset with the fill up. Only my trip A and MPG A reset. Everything else has to be manually reset. Is there even an average speed B?

my ASSumption, why wouldn't you be able to get all that data on a pretty high tech car I've got an 08. Think of it as LAP times.. Going to read manual some more.
