Exclamation Is it time to order new Navi DVD?

What month do you think the new Navi DVD will be made avaliable? Here in NYC, my 06 RL's Navi has led me down my fair share of wrong way streets!!!

Does the news disk also update the navi functions and GUI or only the actual map data?

Someday I'm sure we'll have navi with real time gas prices... as for now I so wish it displayed Starbucks!

4.31 is the version current available. If memory serves me, the next big change will occur sometime around the September/October timeframe.

Trust me from someone who has purchased an update:

It's a complete waste of money. There aren't enough updates to justify the ~$200 cost.

I agree. The software should be a free download to all owners so that they could burn their own DVD and load it.

Honestly based on my TL update (2004 > 2005 DVD) it wasn't worth the $4 for a dual layer DVD-R at the time...

Didn't the update from the 05 software include a menu item for listing traffic incidents? That's not a bad update, although not sure worth $185!

I am probably going to buy the new disc as I moved into a new subdivision and the streets are not listed in the 05 version. Hopefully they will be listed in the next version to come out.

They really should post detailed updates and bug fixes. There is no reason they can't publish a list of changes like 'corrected one way traffic on xyz street' etc. I just moved and will depend heavily on the system for a while. The other day it couldn't find the address for a local walmart. I guess in an RL you're only supposed to do 'upscale' shopping
