Rl Trunk lid loose/unplugged connector?????

Hey guys,

Yesterday, I started my DIY Rear-view camera install on my 2008 Base>NAV Rl. Everything went pretty smooth until I found out the 6-pin connector was missing from the attachment kit I bought! That's another story though.

During the install, I found that there was a loose/unplugged connector hanging out of the trunk lid. I noticed it because of the rattling it created from knocking inside the panels. I looked and could not find anywhere this would plug into. From what I can see, there are 2 connectors for the license plate lights, 1 for the trunk switch, and the wire for the camera. Am I missing something or is there indeed a connector that is unplugged at factory? I'm not sure if this came unplugged from somewhere during the install

I drove the car and everything seems functional, no error indicators or anything. Please help!

Thanks,
Paul

Here are a couple pictures of the connector. I looked again in the trunk lid and could not find anywhere this would be plugged into.
