RL NAV System Problems

I've noticed a few quirks with the NAV system and am looking to see if there are any fixes. I live outside of Washington DC....

1. The system avoids I-66 altogether inside the beltway. I can only surmise that it is because the highway is HOV at certain times, but this gets really annoying. Is there anything that can be done to improve this?

2. It also appears to avoid toll roads even if I don't select the "Minimize Toll Roads" option when picking a route. I drove up near Harrisburg, PA, and it avoided the PA Turnpike even though it was the most direct route. It's done that to me on other toll roads as well.

Thoughts?

I've noticed that there is no speed information for I-395 inside the beltway. Weird because I know that traffic is monitored. Once one hits the 14th Street Bridge, the speed 'lines' are displayed. I have seen traffic alerts for I-395 though.

I suggest a call to XM. I'm not sure why the traffic speed info for inside the Beltway VA isn't being displayed.
